Kids Trek Schedule — July 3, 4 and 5

Thursday, July 3

8 a.m. Registration/Photos
Highlights of Colorado
9 a.m. Sweet Geology
10 a.m. Dinosaur Dig
11 a.m. Sands, Sandstones, Cliffs
Noon Mathemagicians — Steve Slavin
1 p.m. Kids are signed out for lunch.
2 p.m. Gold, Silver, Ghost Towns
3 p.m. The Pony Express
4 p.m. Wet and Wild — Swimming Pool
Parents/guardians required for child to enter pool.
5 p.m. Kids Trek children signed out for dinner.
6 p.m. Rodeo Time!
7 p.m. Tales of the Wild West
8 p.m. Kids Trek closes for the night.


Friday, July 4

8 a.m. Way to Start the Day: Native American history with Dr. James Jefferson and Jimmy McWilliams
10 a.m. Colorado Music and Dance
11 a.m. Juggling with Neal Oliver and Tom Hiller
Noon Kids Trek children go to lunch.
1 p.m. Around the World with Tour Guide Dave Cahn
2:30 p.m. Knitting Yarns and More Yarns with Barbara Ward
3:30 p.m. Magic for All Ages with Bob Ward
4:30 p.m. Mini-Olympics and Football
5:30 p.m. Grandpa's Corner with Roger Williams
6:30 p.m. Kids Trek closes for the night — Dinner in Hospitality


Saturday, July 5

8 a.m. Nibbling the Mountainsides
9 a.m. Arts and Crafts of Colorado
10 a.m. Vote for the Cat for Mayor!
11 a.m. Colorado Dramas
Noon Pizza Party in Kids Trek room!
1 p.m. KnowAtom.com: Hands-on Science Experiments with Francis Vigeant
5 p.m. Kids Trek children signed out for dinner.
6 p.m. Air Force Academy
7 p.m. Colorado Facts Game
8 p.m. Kids Trek closes until July 2009, Pittsburgh, Pa.


We have even more groups and individuals who are considering doing presentations that will make Kids Trek more authentic and enjoyable for the children and the adults who participate. If you know a group or an individual who is talented, knowledgeable and works well with children ages 4 to 12, please email Martha Williams, or give that person her contact information.
