Kids Trek

Science experiment

American Mensa Kids Trek, a memorable educational experience for children ages 4-12, will be "Trekking to the Colorado Mountains" July 3, 4 and 5 during the 2008 Annual Gathering.

Recognizing the potential genius of each child, Kids Trek offers a multi-intelligence approach to the diversity of humankind. The many unique talents of the children will be encouraged through visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic activities of music, art, science, history, drama and more.

Mensan parents/guardians, take note: As you might expect, the AG program for children offers more thought-provoking fare than cartoons and video games. Kids Trek has been coordinated at American Mensa Annual Gatherings since 1997 by Martha (Feld) Williams, an incredible teacher and Mensan.

Schedule

Enrollment
Children and their adult parents/guardians must be registered for the 2008 AG. Registration for Kids Trek 2008 will take place in the Kids Trek room beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 3.

If you have questions or suggestions that will enhance Kids Trek, or if you would like to volunteer your time and talents, please contact Martha Williams as soon as possible.
